Senior Heavy Truck Driver

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Heavy Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely across long distances, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining the vehicle in excellent condition.

You should have a thorough knowledge of road safety regulations and enjoy driving long distances.

• Safely transport heavy goods and materials over long distances.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after trips to ensure mechanical safety.
• Plan routes effectively to avoid delays and traffic congestion.
• Maintain a logbook of trips and record any incidents or defects.
• Follow all traffic laws and company procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in driving heavy trucks.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of GPS and route planning software.
• Physical fitness to load and unload cargo if necessary.
